Culture
Two hours by car from Quito is the most famous Indigenous Market in Ecuador: Otavalo, full of traditions and handicrafts. Before you arrive there, you will make a stop in Cayambe to observe how the local population prepares the famous biscuits using a traditional technique.
Then you can observe from a viewpoint San Pablo Lake and the Imbabura Volcano (4610 m). Your next stop is Otavalo where you can buy quality items for your family and friends. You can fall in love with the variety of handicrafts available. Finally, you can go to Cotacachi to have lunch and explore the leather shops to finish later in the beautiful Cuicocha lagoon.
